Leaping Waters Farm is a 1000 acre farm in Southwest Virginia devoted to raising the heritage breed animals. We have, as the centerpiece to our farm, Ancient White Park cattle, a variety of pig breeds including Large Black, English and American Saddlebacks, Ossabaw and Berkshire and a healthy flock of heritage turkeys.

What are those things?
I've had some inquiries about the paper covered yellow "thingies" as you all seemed to be calling them. They are HUSK tomatoes. Just peel and eat. Treat it like a cherry tomato. So they are great in pasta salad!

I had the same question today... Some sites I found in a Google search said you can also substitute them for gooseberries. They really have an interesting flavor!
ReplyDeletethey are called aunt mollys groundcherries or cape gooseberry- also great husk off dipped in chocolate!!!! when you have alot of them they make a great pie or jam too
